Welcome all to my Blog

Hello friends and family,
If you are viewing this site, you have probably received some type of news that my wife Keri and I are going to Indonesia with the Back to God Hour (BTGH). Therefore, I say welcome to all of you to my feeble, initial attempts at producing a web blog. The purpose of this blog will be for me to keep everyone up-to-date on the goings on of our trip, especially when Keri and I are overseas. When the trip begins May 21 I hope to update this blog on a semi-regular basis to keep prayer sponsors such as yourselves informed about what we are doing. I will try to post thoughts and news daily and I hope to post pictures of our work with BTGH as we go.
This site is also here for any of you to ask questions or make comments about our trip. I hope the dialogue we can all have can foster reflections about Christianity in our own backyards and abroad. Please feel free to use the comment sections at the end of each post. I would ask you use your first name and last initial when you post so I can know who is commenting. However, if you would rather post anonymously, you can do that too.
So with that I once again say welcome. I will hopefully post a couple of more times before we leave, but you can expect the majority of the postings to come after May 21. I look forward to hearing from many of you.

Jonathan

Hi, Jonathan
I just got the flyer. It sounds exciting. Mom said Keri is expecting. When is the baby due?

Keri is due on Aug. 31. She will be back from Indonesia on June 5. The BTGH minister is coming back to the states for Synod and BTGH meetings, so Keri will be travelling back with him, while I stay in Indonesia for three more weeks.

Hi Jon and Keri,
Sounds like you had quite the first day. I got your blog information into the bulletin so I hope you'll be hearing from a few more people. We're praying for you.
Hey, I had two state champions at the state track meet. My boys long jumper set a state record and my niece won the Medley relay. I admit, it was harder to watch my niece run than to coach. It was fun.
I hope you are well. Prayers are with you. Vonda
