New Shoes

I took Ben last week for new shoes before we headed to Iowa. I decided to get some sandals for him while we were out. He wore them for the first time last weekend when it was 75 degrees. He had a hard time focusing on what he was doing because he kept looking at his sandals. Ben loves to run barefoot, but the last couple of days he has put his sandals on in the morning (usually one of them backwards, and then he cries because he knows it's not right) and runs around all day in them. He even naps in them and cries when we take them off. I think he's figured out that having them on makes him ready to go out the door when we do, which he is always ready to do. It's supposed to warm up this weekend, so hopefully we can make good use of them.
